Raha Amirfazli is an Iranian filmmaker currently pursuing her MFA in Film and TV Production at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has directed several short films leading up to her debut feature, In the Land of Brothers, on the circumstances of Afghan refugees in Iran. The film premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it earned her the Best Directing Award in the World Dramatic Competition. Raha is now working on her second feature, tentatively titled An Ode to the Drunk.
